The monitoring system is one of the most widely used security systems, and the most suitable construction site monitoring system on the market is handheld video communication equipment. Video monitoring is now the mainstream. From the earliest analog surveillance to the popular digital surveillance in previous years, and now the rise of online video surveillance, there has been a groundbreaking change.
Since the development of monitoring systems, in addition to continuous innovation in monitoring technology, monitoring products have also begun to form powerful security monitoring systems with other products. This system uses electronic fences to enclose the monitored area into a closed area. The electronic fence has a blocking and alarm system, which is a passive intrusion prevention fence that responds to intrusion attempts, repels intruders, delays intrusion time, and does not threaten human life. Once someone invades, The system initiates an alarm, and the monitoring system also monitors and sends intrusion signals to the monitoring equipment of the security department to ensure that management personnel can timely understand the situation in the alarm area and quickly respond.
Current situation of network usage
Not fluent
High definition/4K ultra high definition cameras and display systems have high bandwidth requirements and are prone to lag
Instability
Multiple nodes, traditional networks are susceptible to interference, copper cables are prone to aging, and faults occur frequently
Difficulty in operation and maintenance
The network structure is complex, the cables are messy, there is no visual operation interface, and troubleshooting is difficult
Difficulty in capacity expansion
Difficulty in adding monitoring points
Difficult to cover
The installation of surveillance cameras is scattered, with a wide area and limited coverage distance
High energy consumption
There are many intermediate convergence nodes, which consume a lot of energy and emit a large amount of heat, resulting in high carbon emissions
development direction
With network technology, recognition technology
Microelectronics Technology
The development of encoding and decoding technology, operating system technology, etc. will make embedded DVR develop towards intelligence, integration, wireless, high-definition, personalization, and interactivity.
1. Faster hardware processing speed and longer storage time
With the development of chip technology, higher performance central processors make DVR faster and more powerful. From early CIF hard disk recorders, D1 hard disk recorders, 960H hard disk recorders, hybrid hard disk recorders, and HD-SDI hard disk recorders. In addition, with the trend towards high-definition, the demand for storage is also increasing, and DVR hard disk management technology is also improving. Basically, DVR may support more hard disk interfaces, RAID technology, and compatibility with storage technologies such as DAS, SAN, and NAS.
2. More advanced coding methods
The mainstream compression technologies used in DVR on the market include MPEG-4, H.264, and M-JPEG. MPEG-4 and H.264 are the most common compression methods in China, while H.264 has become mainstream due to its better compatibility with network transmission requirements. In order to make embedded DVR more widely applicable in the future, the unification of various algorithms will be the trend of future development. However, this unification is not based on the standards of any domestic enterprise, but requires the widespread participation of a wide range of government functional departments and various enterprises in the DVR industry chain. For example, the AVS compression algorithm with independent intellectual property rights in China, as well as the H.265 compression algorithm, have undergone revolutionary changes in many aspects compared to H.264.
3. Intelligence is an important development direction
From a technical perspective, intelligence is an important development direction, and only through intelligent analysis technology can people's work be freed from complex affairs in video information management. In fact, real-time monitoring, early warning, information processing, retrieval and other functions all require the application of intelligent technology. Although it is difficult to fully implement the management of intelligent analysis technology in a short period of time, technology can already achieve semi-automatic monitoring intelligence to some extent. In most cases, using intelligent analysis technology can complete most of the work, and staff can concentrate on management and coordination processing. This is a relatively good application method at present. In terms of intelligence, there is a strong market demand. Many manufacturers have launched DVR with intelligent analysis technology. The best intelligent analysis technology currently does not have 100% accuracy, and significant breakthroughs and advancements are needed in technology to meet market applications.
